INSEAD Business School Summer Startup 2.0 feature, July 2018 - "There has to be a better way to do this." The question that seems to forge all start-ups, and this is exactly the question that Henrik Molin, CEO of Physitrack, set out to solve when his brother in law told him a story about having had surgery and been handed a folded piece of paper with his physiotherapy instructions on. Fast forward several years later and now Henrik is sitting with us on the rooftop of The Curtain telling us the story of how he has grown Physitrack into one of the biggest players in the physiotherapy/musculoskeletal e-health space. And Physitrack has set its sights even further now providing telehealth and managing the full spectrum of musculoskeletal injury and physiotherapy process remotely.

Following a new collaboration announced last month between Accelerator company Physitrack and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, we were delighted to see Physitrack featured in the new “Digital Leadership in London’s NHS” report (p7) based on the interviews with Dr Zoe Penn, the trust’s Medical Director.

Physitrack Limited has been chosen by CBI Health, Canada’s leading provider of community-based health services, to deliver an enhanced digital client experience with Physitrack’s award winning digital solutions. Through integration with CBI Health’s other information systems, CBI Health clinicians will be able to utilize Physitrack to prescribe remote home exercise programs, deliver client education and review client outcome measures – all via Physitrack’s easy to use web and mobile apps.

About 8,000 Australian physiotherapists are tapping into an app to provide consultations remotely to around 300,000 patients. The Physitrack app, endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), enables physiotherapists to use telehealth for secure video consultations and live exercise demonstrations.

The world-leading Department of Physiotherapy of the University of Melbourne, Australia, has published a multi-year, independent scientific study of exercise adherence among patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries in the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

The digital physical therapy, telehealth and patient engagement platform from UK-based Physitrack is getting a boost in users thanks to an integration with Australian practice management system Front Desk.
