Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer a free trial?

Physitrack offers a risk-free trial. If you cancel your subscription within the first 14 days after starting it, you won't be charged.

If you don't cancel your subscription within this trial period, your subscription will automatically renew every month. There is no lock-in. You're never stuck with Physitrack for more than a month.

Note: if you add colleagues to your Physitrack subscription, and/or add a Telehealth package, your free trial will end and you will commence payments.

Can I add my own exercises?

Yes, you can add your own exercises to your Physitrack account.

Tip: if you download Physitrack for iOS you can film and add exercises directly from your iPhone or iPad.

How do I integrate with my Patient Management System?

Physitrack integrates with dozens of patient management systems (PMS) worldwide.

Please see our list of integrations. If your patient management system is not listed, feel free to email us about adding an integration.

There are three types of integrations:

  1. Single-sign on
This type of integration lets you sign on to Physitrack directly from your PMS, while simultaneously copying your client data to Physitrack (or opening the client if they already exist).
The result is a smooth workflow.
  2. Single-sign on with PDF upload
This type of integration augments the standard single-sign on integration by sending a PDF copy of the program that you've assigned back to your PMS.
This makes it easy to keep a full client record inside your PMS, including assigned home exercise programs.
  3. Single-sign on with deeper functionality and data upload
This type of integration augments the standard single-sign on integration by letting you assign programs to your clients from within your PMS (without having to open Physitrack). Also, rather than only a PDF copy of the assigned program, it is possible for your PMS to store the actual adherence and outcomes data with your client record, resulting in near-zero "data leakage" between your PMS and Physitrack.

Note: not all patient management systems support all types of integrations. If you would like your PMS to support a more powerful type of integration, then please contact your PMS account representative.

Is my (client) data safe?

Yes, your data is safe with us.

Information security breaches in the healthcare space are unfortunately common - the Proteus Breach Barometer reported 572 healthcare data breaches in 2020 in the US alone, affecting 41 million patient records - and we’re making sure we’re keeping your patients out of the statistics and you away from costly problems (the average cost to resolve one healthcare data breach was $7.13 million in 2020 according to IBM).

Our extensive information security management system (ISMS) and security controls, as well as careful selection of the subcontractors, third parties and subprocessors that we work with play a key part in protecting practitioner and patient data.

Below, find a high-level summary of some of the security controls which we have in place. Because our philosophy is to continually improve, these controls are reviewed and - where possible - improved annually.

What is the difference between Physitrack and Physiapp

Great question, one is your physiotherapists, and the other is for patients.

When a physiotherapist creates an exercise programme for a patient, they do so by logging into Physitrack on their desktop computer. They then assign the exercise to their patient. The patient receives the the programme in Physitracks patient app, Physiapp. This app (available on both iOS and Android) is just for patients. It's designed to be really easy to use to help encourage good recovery habits and improve adherence.

Patients get access to Physiapp via a code shared by their physiotherapist.
