How to perform the Side Lift

Step 1
Lie on your side with your head resting on your bottom arm which should be stretched straight outwards. Place your top arm on the mat with the elbow bent in front of you for balance.

Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you lift your arms up and across your body. Hold this position for a few seconds before slowly lowering your arms back down to your sides.
