What is RTM?
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) is a billing framework that lets physical therapists get reimbursed for collecting and reviewing patient-reported data between visits. This includes things like adherence to home exercise programs and therapeutic response. Many clinics don’t realize this reimbursement pathway exists. RTM is the framework that makes it billable.
