What is #SUMS?
Shape-Up-My-Shoulder (#SUMS) is the internationally acclaimed rehabilitation program developed for ALL musculoskeletal conditions involving the shoulder when exercise is indicated.
The program includes traumatic, post-surgical and non-traumatic shoulder conditions, and it is a hybrid rehabilitation program including an educational program, movement facilitation exercises, muscle performance exercises, and functional shoulder exercises.
#SUMS is a synthesis of current research knowledge and is the focus of ongoing international, clinical, laboratory, imaging, and qualitative research. The program is described in detail in the international best seller - The Shoulder: Theory & Practice (Lewis and Fernández-de-la-Peñas - editors, Handspring Publishing).
